we were at Orchard Road on Monday afternoon. first thing we saw when we came out of the MRT station were trees, all wrapped in red cloth with big white spots all over! there were also baubles hanging. is this part of our Christmas decor? i know the IMF will be held here sometime next week but why wrap our trees with this?this isn't totally hideous but if i knew the theme to this, it probably wouldn't come off as being awful. although it does makes it different. and i don't think i'll scrap these shots anytime soon ;)
was woken up at about 5.30am this morning by loud crashing thunder and big drops of rain spattering against my bedroom window. there was some flashes of lightning too and got up to check on my kids and shut all other windows that exist in this house to prevent from getting puddles all over our teakwood floor! ;) well, when they get wet & damp, the wood begins to peel and age. but i don't mind it, really.
did some scrapping last night. somehow it didn't turn out the way i had it pictured in my mind. oh well... and i even made a boo boo on one. took it down after i realised my mistake. *duh* anyway, the rain has died down and morning is always beautiful no matter rain or shine :) love the peacefulness of it. at least until one of my kids starts shrieking or screaming! hehe...
just called my Dad. last week i told him i'm making a date with him for a day trip to JB today. he's taken the day off to spend time with us :) how sweet! time to get ready and quit thinking of what to wrtie about next! haha...
