A Groovie Day @

Our very first Groovie Family Gathering
Sunday May 27th 2007 :)

it was also a day for all of us to exchange our Secret Groovie Surprise Gift :)
when the gifts were handed out to each Groovie Girl with their gifts wrapped in brown paper bags, it was so thrilling and a feeling of fulfilment i get seeing how happy my friends are.

it started with my suggestion asking the girls if they were interested to have a Secret Groovie Girl who would make a surprise gift for them in light of Mother's Day. when i received such a warm response, i was so happy and excited at the same time. this would be my first time organising such an event and indeed, it's a huge deal to me as it would be to anyone, to ensure that something we plan would turn out to be a success.

i dare say, despite being told my take on the rules with this Secret Groovie Girl thing was hilarious and wasn't fun, somehow the whole ordeal turned out to be in their words...

there are several more photos but i'm pretty sure these captured the moments how we truly had an enjoyable day! the picnic was great, the friends we shared laughter and chatter with and looking at the little ones smiling and enjoying themselves...what more could we ask for?
