Friday's Meanderings...

which means, today i'm neither here nor there!

managed to get one ton of laundry done! 6 human beings in this home and they're all in different sizes too! hehe... :D also did an ironing marathon *wink* so so glad all that's done. a Mother's work is never ending!

Thank Goodness the people in this home aren't the fussy ones. i made simple meals and they gobbled it up :D so while ironing i got to watch Oprah whom i adore and totally inspired by! i so want to do the Pay It Forward project! God Willing that will happen in the future soon.

i am trying to give back with Groovie Kits For A Cause which will help families with basic necessities. every last Sunday of each month, hubby and the guys will meet up and with everyone pitching in, they have a supplier who provides a package for families with rice, milk and so forth. they are doing this voluntarily as we still have poor families living in Singapore. our eldest son has helped a few times giving out these packages whenever hubby is in town.

i've brought my kids to the village where my Dad goes home to each week. they've seen how life isn't all a bed of roses and living amongst garbage all piled up and nothing being done about it. how sad is that? but it's an eye opener for them, for me over and over. i've given what little things i have to my Dad to bring back to the little kids in the village. plus i have a little adopted Baby Sister that i look forward to meeting and cuddling! :)
