A Little Story
we went across the causeway on Thursday. Ron met us for a little while and he went back to planting in Singapore :)
so it's the usual, me and kids went for a little shopping and towards the end of the day, decided to stop by this little Cafe @ JB Sentral...

we ordered a few things and there was this older couple sitting across us and often looked our way. he then called the waiter who served us and whispered something to him, which i happened to see. so i thought nothing of it and we had our drinks and sandwiches. they got up to leave and he stopped by and wished us "Merry Christmas". we said the same :)

when we finished, i asked for the bill and the waiter came over and said that our bill has been taken care of by the gentleman who sat across us! puzzled and pleasantly surprised, i asked him if he was sure and he said not to worry about the bill because the man said i have a Lovely Family and he wanted to give us a treat.

you know, i've actually seen this kind of scene on TV..hehe and for this to happen for real, it makes us feel Special and i only have a silent Thank You for the couple and wish them Well & Goodness Always whatever comes their way :) also Thanks to the waiter who took care of us.

Kindness pays and goes a long way and as a Mother, i hope i've taught my kids well as far as being kind. it just has that special nice feeling that comes with it :) don't you agree?

My Lovely Children @ The Cafe

How special Edleen - and how lovely of them to do that for you. My favourite quote is

"Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end. ~Scott Adams"

So true in the case of the kind strangers you met. I just love your layouts too. You have been so busy, and your work is always gorgeous.
