Dinner

i just cooked fried rice with fried crispy ikan bilis(anchovies). kids love this :D simple dish, best to fry with rice from the day before. add egg, a pinch of salt and add other ingredients you like. like most locals here would say, Sedap! ;)

Ron just sent a text message and my Dear Husband is now in Miami waiting for his flight to Providenciales. i hope all will go well for him there along with everyone else.

we're now having lovely weather here in Singapore and the sun is back! i'm Thankful and that means laundry gets dry faster too :D Thanks for coming by, hope you're doing well and wishing you Good Health always! Take Care :)

Top Student

when she brought home her report card and showed us her results for their 3rd Semester exams, she made Top Student in her level :) we were so Happy and we are So Proud of You Aysha!
so the suspense is over! Chatterbox announced their International List and i didn't make it ;) but Congrats to those that did and fellow Singaporean Anne Marie :) i believe everyone did a Great Job with their Yummy Chatterbox Goodies and hey, i was a Finalist! :D here's what i did with mine...

and while we're on the subject of the Zoo, we'll be going there for filming! YES! Aneesa got picked from the audition and not much to reveal yet. but it's for a kids TV show and she gets to talk about her favourite animal :) hopefully she won't freeze and she has to practice on her presentation.

and more Good News, i've been picked to be on an Australian Blog Challenge Design Team!!! woohoo... so happy and honoured and can't wait to work along the new talented Team of Girls and will let you know more once the Announcement has been made :)

and they say, things come in 3s, and sharing my last piece of Good News is an assignment i was offered and took from Laine's Papeterie :D and i will be sharing a little Happy Announcement over @ Ed's Sketch. Thanks to Sharon & Elaine!

met with June and her Little Ones this afternoon and then went for a little walk @ Isetan and saw this pair of Betula from Kids 21 and immediately i saw Anis wearing it! hehe... it was on sale(Yayy!) and only paid $38 from the original price of $80. the Little Guy was so excited when he tried it on. but that lasted for a little while but...nevermind! :D

well, we are on our 4th day of fasting and i'm hoping to lose a few kilos during this month ;) hopefully! the weather in Singapore has been damp and wet lately but i like the cool breeze and waking up and going to bed feeling cold :D although some sunshine would be nice too. need the laundry to dry!

they are all now at the display window @ the store.
and another Whoopee! when Sharon told me that a tourist asked if they could purchase them! so nice to hear that :)

here are 6 more that i did...and every Milk Carton has some form of stamping on it ;) this requires no special skills, just a little bit of dedication :) and it would be fun to have a Crop Party and alter Milk Cartons or do a swap!

had some technical glitches with my computer all of Monday!!! grrr... Bianca couldn't have a webchat with her family and she got a little upset that they didn't call to check on her... i know how she feels, i'd feel the same way too. err...my Dear Ron is the same whenever i don't reply an email! hehehe...

Ron is now doing Pilates(what??? him???) hehe... and it has helped ease his back so much. he's feeling much better, Thank God for that.

and to add one last Whoopee!!! i've been selected to be on Sony's panel of judges!!! woohoo... don't know what i'll be doing yet but i know i'm getting a voucher from Starbucks...hehe

i had fun catching up with some friends for lunch on Monday. even for a few hours with little chats, making the time to be with the Girls...it's really nice :) hope you're having a Great Day and having a good time where you are!
