busy week for many, especially those celebrating the Lunar New Year which happens to fall on Valentine's Day! how festive and romantic...hehe

time for Reunion Dinner with Family and we'll be having one with Ron's parents and one with just us and our kids. we have dinner with our kids every night so this only makes it extra special as we hope to inculcate this in our family. so when our kids are grown and have their own family (hopefully we live long enough to see it happen), Reunion Dinners would be one event we all look forward to. they better make time for it! hehehe...

Ron will be happy to know that his flowers are Blooming and still alive while he's away :) the flowers are facing out hence the difficulty capturing a front view.

Fish Crackers
Ron bought these while in Indonesia. they're dried fish crackers and they're quite delicious. you have to fry them before eating.

they'd "grow" in size after frying and they're great for snacking. filled up 2 containers with these and none left today...hehe

Friday Fun

Aysha's school had their Annual Cross Country Run @ the Park this afternoon. being part of the school's Parent Support Group, went there with my other kids to join in the fun :)

while that was happening, we explored around the Park :)



then we went to visit their Grandparents who wasn't far away from the Park :) they're living just across a forest and they were several monkeys hanging about. no feeding the monkeys!


Feeling Better
Thanks for your Well Wishes :) he wasn't feeling so good when we woke up in the morning and had to miss the school party @ Kindy. but later in the afternoon, he felt better and obviously he had a fun time @ the Park :D

feeling cold this wet Wednesday. the chilly winds are so refreshing and a cup of hot mocha or hazelnut latte or even Milo would be so Yummy right now! :D actually, even a nap would be just perfect too *wink*

Muesa's friend F is here. they're playing Xbox...big fans of Soccer and they are now soccer mates too. did you know i used to play Women's soccer? hehehe... NEVER again!!! let's just say, not my cup of tea :D

however the weather is, i still feel good about the day. Home is definitely the best place to be. and with a TV, it helps..hehe i miss reading though...should start picking up those books i bought and start reading! i shall leave you with these pretty Orchids that are still healthy and "happy" in our home :)

i just wanted to create something fun for myself :D it's time to do something for Me Me Me! hehe... i discovered i have this heart shaped Fancy Pants chipboard and i am not so much of a Pink person but this paper by SB Australia which is in the {Fun Fiesta!} Groovie Kit is simply lovely!

stamped the chipboard with sentiments, inked the edges, fabric flower by Prima, blings, doodled camera, Making Memories die cuts & metal charm, Creative Cafe rub ons, October Afternoon rub ons, Melissa Frances rub ons and made my own tiny red felt heart :)

it's midweek and it's been a lovely day. kids are all home and everyone is Happy and soon time for me to fix dinner. i think we've spoiled dinner a little since we've been having the banana cake... hehe :D

these pebbles are great to walk on and the best thing is, they're free! just downstairs @ our little park :) although they can make you go "Ouch!"

when i woke up this morning, got a text message @ 4am from Kristy who's still in Anaheim. she's got Great news for me! i think she's got great news for a few of us :) it's nice...what good news isn't nice, right? i believe a few of our Layouts have been picked to be published by Somerset Memories including mine! Whoopee!!! *happy dance*
