Tuesday Morning

we were up @ 6am and got here by 8am to do this...

filming for BBC's CBeebies, Aneesa had to talk about her favourite animal and she had to say why she likes them and describe a little about them. i gave her a few lines to practise, the clients loved it and used it and she was nervous at first but after 4~5 takes, we were done by 9.30am :) plus it was such a lovely morning and the weather was just nice!

hopefully we'll be seeing her and a few other Little Ones soon on Mio TV ;)

since we finished early, we went to visit a few more friends...

oh what a day! been up since 5am and now eyes drooping but still managing to blog! ;) an old friend from school called early in the day and right after sending kids to school went to meet her. we went to town and then to Arab Street to check out the mini bazaar there. bought ourselves some food and snacks and we went back to my place.

broke our fast, she hung out with us @ my kampong :D she even caught a nap..hehe. well it does get tiring fasting for the day and we'll be into our 10th day of fasting! wow...can't believe it.

Ron has safely arrived in London and will stay the night until he flies off to the Caribbean the next day. Thank You for your prayers and i'm sure with all of us thinking of others, a little of our prayer went their way :) his friends emailed to say that the damage was really bad, trees uprooted, broken walls but they were safe while Hurricane Ike hit them. it must have been terrifying. but glad no one was hurt.

Wednesday Already?
midweek...time really flies! Ron called from London, he went in search of my fave chocolates first and alas...not in stock! :( anyhoo...he will try again when he's there in August. he's flown to the Caribbean where he'll be rubbing shoulders with people we often see in magazines... maybe not. hehe...

managed to clean up my messy scrap area and the wonder of finding stuff that you thought you lost! i'm sure in a few weeks it'll get back to that messy state again... and always Happy to get laundry done too. in a home with 4 kids and 2 adults, washing towels and bedsheets just doesn't make it anymore fun. :D but once it's done, what a relief! phew!!!

hope you are enjoying the weather wherever you are...it's Summer right? ;) it's been raining here, we're kinda used to it. met a few girlfriends for lunch, catching up and trying out few pieces of sinful cakes! but that was really nice :D around the waist too!!! hehe...

Ae called from Germany asking me what else i want besides Birkenstock that she's getting for me :D well...i do love those Rafaellos! white chocolate covered with coconuts and cruncy biscuit and cream inside...mmmmm. can't wait for her daughter's arrival. another teenager in the house, and this one who has her own Rock Band! she'll be happy that we've got MTV :)

we had a Splendid Weekend! Anis enjoyed himself the most seeing all the animals LIVE where he had learnt about and only seen in books and TV. :) it was my Pleasure to take my kids to the Zoo and spend time discovering more about animals we've never known to exist.
