Saying Goodbye

Last Morning
we woke up early, everyone showered and the drama in the bathroom one last time with Aneesa & Anis! hehehe... phew, glad that was over! started to pack our bags and i found that Muesa brought a few of his toy buses and story books. asked him if it's ok for him to give away 3 of his toy bus to Uncle Halim's boys and Duwi's brother. he didn't even hesitate and said YES! those buses are his favourites and i'm so proud of my son :)

even Aneesa wanted to give something away and she took her pink butterfly slippers and gave them to Duwi. i apologised to Duwi's Mum as those slippers weren't exactly new. they didn't mind. and i asked Auntie M to pass the books to Citra and her sisters.

Island Tour On Trishaw
we decided to go for the Island Tour on the trishaw before we leave. Mak Piah came in the morning to see us off and when i suggested doing that, she quickly went to call 2 trishaws to come pick us up! my Dad didn't want to go and said he'll push the stroller and wait for us at the jetty. Aysha didn't want to come along as well.
however small the island is, yet the Kampong was divided into 3 or 4 small villages. we went through Kampong Bahru which was not as busy as Kampong Tengah. we also went to Asiya Hotel and stopped to take pictures because Mak Piah told me to!!! and the young man from the hotel came onto the balcony ledge and took pictures of us! :))) so funny! then we moved on slowly and passed through mangroves and little houses and modern houses. everyone smiled when we passed them. the tide was low and i just have these thoughts of what would be if there were to be another tsunami. God, please i hope not.
<>the whole ride took about 30 mintues and it was great. seeing how others live, some poor, some not so poor. yet, everyone got along. Mak Piah & Auntie M told me there are cases of thefts and burglary and robbery that happens even in this small town. so it is a must to keep the doors locked and valuables kept safely hidden.

Come Back Again...
when we got to the jetty, Auntie M & Auntie Idah was there. Dad & Aysha, waiting patiently while we enjoyed the sights on trishaw! :) Uncle Halim was already waiting too and we said our goodbyes. Auntie M hoped we had a good time and not to feel like this would be our one and only visit. told her of course not. we had such a wonderful time. we all hugged and i welcomed them to come visit us as well. unfortunately, not everyone can afford to pay for a passport. quite a pity to learn about that. :(

each time we went on the speed boat, Anis would already be asleep. Aneesa enjoys the ride on the boat and i'm so glad...just overjoyed that my kids had a fantastic time as well. it's surprising that when we arrived at the terminal, they said they want to go and visit again. :))) i'm so pleased. God Willing we'll return and the next time we'll be bringing much more...i hope.

Home Sweet Home
going through immigration went smoothly and we went for lunch at Banquet. also bought pizza and lasagne from New York Pizza. got a piece for my Dad as well. that's for dinner ;) i know i'll be too tired to cook as i'll be doing laundry and cleaning house when we get back. Dad came home with us as he helped with the loads of stuff we brought back! he stayed for abit and then left. Thanked him for everything. Love You Pak! :)

shower time with Aneesa was so cute! she said, "no fall down toilet but i like the kampong. i want to go back to kampong!" :)
