i was a little tired from the day we had at the crop meet. then we headed to the mall. we went home. then we're out again to Ron's friend's apartment for a bbq. Andrew's parents were in town. they flew in from Australia few days back and the bbq was for his friends and colleagues to gather to meet up with his parents as well. normally i wouldn't go to Ron's friend's gathering. especially with kids in tow!
it wasn't a big gathering. mostly Andrew's colleagues from the Oriental. met Cat again and finally met Harry whom Ron worked with at the Caribbean. they're all very friendly and seems like alot of catching up to do since they've all been separated! ;)
the shellfish with the sambal was really tasty. Andrew made the sambal himself! *applaud* Muesa helped to bbq some fresh prawns. i ate a few :) Anis wanted to get into the pool! what a silly boy. we stayed for an hour or so and left after the many goodbyes here and there.
what supposed to be a ride home turned out to be a detour to Mustaffa Centre! it's our neighbourhood 24hr shopping mall! hehe... it was my bright idea. of course the hubby listens to my suggestions ;) it was pretty busy at midnight and we got some stuff that we wanted. plus Ron usually gets his things from there before he leaves for his trips. it's Maldives next but somehow he's gotta finish up the landscaping for the Missus. but what made me happy was the fact that we found Lion Bar chocolates! yippee!!!
once done with our shopping, we stopped for a late night snack! that's really not helping with my increasing waistline! had teh tarik (still can't beat my Mum's) ;) and grilled cheese sandwich. mmmmm....heavenly! almost half past one and we had better head home. little ones were already tired and Thankfully we got home safe and sound. washed up and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :)
