Stretched Out Saturday!

came home at 2am this morning. yikes! after the crop session at Mel's place, i went home, took my kids to the mall and had dinner. when we got home, hubby said we've been invited to a barbeque! more food??? hehehe...

anyway, had some time to log in, get the pictures uploaded and it took me forever to figure out how to edit this and that on the photos! and nope, i don't have photoshop :( otherwise all that's been taught by Jacq at the crop would have been really useful. so i finally taught myself *yayy* more than 24hrs later, here's my account of our Crop Session ;)

met Dah at our usual meeting point and we took a bus to Mel's condominium. almost everyone else was already there but cropping haven't started. but eating did begin ;) look at those pretty cupcakes generously baked by Ratna for the SB Gang. and there were more heavily laden delicious yums as well. those honey fried chicken wings! Dah! i want some more, please! :)))

so cropping finally began. Sharon was one of the organisers and i remember she was trying to explain the whole thing about the circle coasters but from then on....... hehehe. the game was fun though. we each had to add on items onto the coaster which has a name of the person on it and once the "owner" has it in her hands, it's completed! every coaster was placed on the fire extinguisher and everyone would vote for their most favourite. Melisa actually won the most votes for her coaster but she gave up to win the RAK prize and second most votes won. and that was ME! :) Thank You Ladies!

then we had a Photoshop tutorial conducted by Jacq. amazing what could be done. Thanks for the lesson Jacq :) really appreciate it. we had several snacking breaks. the chips and dips were yummy too! then we got an hour to finish a "blackout" challenge. well, try to complete four elements that was in the challenge or try to get all sixteen in hence the "blackout". i did a really simple one...an hour sometimes not enough to think ;) plus little Aneesa needed to be tended too as well. but everyone came out with excellent layouts and these other scrappers are just fantastic! even for Ida who just turned to paper scrapping. and a 12x12 at that too! woohoo... by the way Ida, Thanks for letting me use your alphas on my LO :)

we had one last challenge, to name all SB products from A to Z. our team tried...but we couldn't remember all of them!!! i'm not very good with all the products out there myself ;) finally we placed all our layouts to be voted. Charlene and Dah won! hooray! i think someone else did too...who??? finally it's time to pack up, try to finish up the yummy food and take a group shot. luckily we had Clara's hubby and Jetstorm(Biow's hubby) there. they helped take photos from the so many cameras that was there ;)

i had a great time. so did Aneesa. the company was so much fun and so glad to finally meet Jen, Sharon and Rita. also meeting Marr and the others too. hoping to have another crop meet soon and learning from you gorgeous gals! :)

got home and added a little more to my Layout that i did at the crop. i did my best and i just had so much fun! :)
