Kindness

own it and you know your heart will tell you how happy it makes you feel :)

Cough Story
it's now almost a week i've been coughing :( not getting any better even though i cherish the moments when i'm free from it. but then it comes again. the tickling throat monster and sometimes i just run out of breath from coughing!!! boohoo...

Today
my son came home from camping with 3 bags of dirty laundry!!! but so happy to see him home and he had fun and they were out doing stuff even when it rained. that explains the muddy shoes, clothes and everything else! :D

hubby arrived safely in Maldives. Thank God :)

Asnah came to pick up some Groovie felts. she brought us some yummy local kuehs and my favourite which she made, putri salat :)

Deedah called to borrow my crop~a~dile. Muesa and Aneesa went to meet her at our usual meeting point and they came home with this...

Yummy Pizza!!!
Thank You so much Deedah! :)
Potato Salad
Muesa helped peel off the skin
Tuna & Potato Salad
Thanks to Deedah, pizza was sort of a lifesaver for my kids :D we would only be having potato & tuna salad for dinner.

i feel so Blessed and Thankful having friends who care and friends who sends me emails, messages and calling to ask how i am. i truly appreciate their kindness :) we are also fortunate to have our families who cares for us for but friends...they are the ones we need in our life too. the little gestures that means so much and sometimes how things fall into your lap with your friends being the ones who somehow rescues you. am i making any sense? hehe...

arghh...i think this cough is just meant to be for me :) on a happier note, Aneesa's eczema has totally disappeared!!! yayy... i am just so delighted! it was so bad that it came to a point where we already made an appointment to see a skin specialist and the Polyclinic meds totally helped! plus i warned her not to scratch to make it worse. i kept explaining to her how she would have a permanent "Ugly Rash" on her legs and she would blame me about it when she gets older. *always blame the Umie!* :D

Aysha turned down to go for an audition for an ad.
reason: it's a Malay speaking role...

getting my next Groovie Java Kit ready *wink*
very Thankful for the wonderful support i've received. and for making it all happen and being able to help the less fortunate with the although small amount we've collected and given to charity :)
Bless You Groovie Girls!
:)

and i love this quote...

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.
George Washington Carver

Stay Groovie Everyone!!!

Muesa sounded like he had a glorious time and *LOL* at the laundry, that's a mum's loife right ??? Glad Aneesa's eczema is better !

Great post about friends, and yes though family comes first, it's the litle gestures from friends sometimes surprising that makes us so happy. Love the quote, can I use it for an LO ?

Hi Ed, Matt also has eczema and was quite bad a few mths ago. We switched to using Dermaveen bath & shower oil for him and he is much better (in addition to all those creams he needs to slather on!). You can get it at Guardian. Moisturizes them well so it helps prevent the flare-ups.
