Food Poisoning

Food poisoning is a common, usually mild, but sometimes deadly illness. Typical symptoms include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea that come on suddenly (within 48 hours) of consuming a contaminated food or drink. Depending on the contaminant, fever and chills, bloody stools, dehydration, and nervous system damage may follow. These symptoms may affect one person or a group of people who ate the same thing (this would be called an outbreak).

unfortunately, that one person was moi... i can't recall what i ate, it must have been something that wasn't good, obviously!

and it was so bad, i couldn't move for the past 2 days. i am so Thankful and Blessed to have Ron around. he took care of me, took care of our kids and everyone stayed home with me during the weekend. the worse thing about this was the frequent visits to the bathroom :( hated it!

had enough strength to finally come online today! :D it's a week of school holiday and haven't any plans to take my kids out anywhere. Aysha has school camp so we'll miss her half the day. i'm still feeling a little weak so hopefully will be totally better soon. haven't been eating, just drank lots of fluids and diluted 100+ which helped settle my tummy.

we'll be off to the airport shortly. Ron will be in Bali and i'm hoping Umie will be well while he's not around. it sucks being sick. but it happened to me, the fever and chills, abdominal cramping and diarrhea was the worst! and now suffering back ache... anyhoo, enough of complaining. just Thankful i'm up and about now and hoping not to gain the weight i've lost *wink*

hope your Weekend was fun and enjoy the coming week ahead! *hugs*

Glad you are better !! At least the kids didn't get it. How about taking more Yakult to strengthen your gut with good bacteria, supposed to help *that's what a doctor told me*.

Now Nura is down with a fever and cold *sigh* and with ballet exams coming up too !
