Hand In Hand

Paper Lanterns
it was the Mid~Autumn festival and we had mooncakes and Little Ones played with paper lanterns with a candle lighting within. i very much prefer these "antique" lanterns rather than the new and improved ones which lights up and has sometimes annoying music installed :P i remember my brothers and i played with them and at times the candle would tilt to the side and they burnt to ashes! i really had to be careful with these kids. we don't want to burn down the house...

it's a lovely Tuesday morning here and the sun is out, shining so brightly! Ron sent a text message @ 4am this morning and he'll be home in about 12hrs. Yayy! hope he'll arrive safely and we're all heading to the airport later in the afternoon. going to pop by my Mum's to break our fast and in 7 days we'll be celebrating Eid!

been doing a little clearing up around the house. can't believe what a hoarder of clothes and bags i am!!! can we get that guy from Oprah to come and help me? ;) hehe... i tried to part with some. but a few went back into my wardrobe. parting is such sweet sorrow. but i love the little extra space. next would be my scrap area. eeks! bits of papers everywhere! so getting the kids to be neat and tidy should apply to me as well ;)

Thanks for your kind wishes. there's another round of Birthday fun for me in November. that's according to the calendar everyone checks on daily ;) Aneesa's turn is next. ahhh...she'll be 6 on the first day of Eid which also happens to be Children's Day. they actually do grow up!
