Beauty of Nature

took this shot just minutes ago when the sun was shining and capturing the beauty of nature :) just love the colour of nature and this taken from our balcony outside. our Bougainvilleas are blooming especially with Ron in town ensuring they get enough water and his love and care! hehe...
right now, it's pouring cats and dogs... we're used to Singapore weather but it's cool to be indoors and pretty much do nothing. if possible ;) blogging it is for me and look what i made sometime ago, Nasi Lemak for brunch :)

fried ikan bilis

sambal prawns

fried egg

forgot the cucumbers that goes along with Nasi Lemak but just Thankful everyone appreciated Umie's cooking :) but i have to improvise on making tastier sambal. still haven't got that Oommphhh to it...

i'm enjoying ME time and have been scrapbooking some too. asked G if she wanted to come over for a crop on Monday and we did.

Thank you Aga for this award. i *heart* this :)

This is called The Proximity Award.
"These blogs believe and invest in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers, who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their awards".

how's everyone doing this fine Tuesday? hope you are well :) Aneesa's eczema is acting up again and this morning brought her to the Polyclinic to have a check and requested for a referral to see a skin specialist. from time of registration to moving onto different numbered doors to see Doctor, collect referral letter, go to pharmacy and then to cashier, everything took about 2 and a half hours!

but this is expected when going to a Polyclinic so i'm not complaining. although it's quite a pity when it comes to the elderly who has to wait that long :( Aneesa needs to avoid from scratching to reduce the rash which is an awful sight! hopefully we'll get a quick appointment date. but everything cost us less than $10 today. it would have cost me about $100 if we went to her Paediatrician.

with stuff going on in the world, we've heard of alot of job cuts and people taking a pay cut. it has affected a few people i know and hopefully things will get better. i've always been the "Budget Minister" @ home and so far i think i'm doing quite well. i'm also the "Sales Queen" so...always looking out for anything that's got good offers ;) i'm just Thankful Ron has a job to take care of us for the time being. whatever happens, we always hope and pray for the Best.

may you have a Wonderful Week ahead and Take Good Care!
