Green Child

celebrates his 12th Birthday today :)
keeping in mind it's Earth Day today,
made this Birthday card for Muesa using corrugated board
and sprayed Glimmer Mist all over
Aneesa also made a card for her GorGor (older brother)
The Cakes
baked this Milo Cake for Ron on April 12th

bought and decorated this cake for Aysha on April 16th

bought Cheesecake and decorated with Cola Gummy and Milo
for Muesa this morning :)

so my excited 12year old called from school and told me that he's expecting 14 of his friends over! i knew he wanted a few friends over but 14? hehe... it would be so easy to just call for Pizza or other fast food delivery but i enjoy preparing these things so i fried chicken nuggets, french fries, made fried rice and noodles. bought chips and chocolates and everyone was Happy :)

Muesa and friends

Boys are pretty easy to please :D
all they need is XBox and they had fun playing all afternoon

Today
Earth Day, celebrated April 22, is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year. This date is Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.

and over @ Groovie Scraps Cafe, we're having a Go Green challenge :) to use any Green background and using any recycled items on your layout. do join in and there are a few RAK Prizes to be won!

Love Nature
we love the outdoors, especially Ron and
we often take our kids out to the parks,
gardens and to the beach.
here's Aneesa sitting on a tree with
Beautiful natural coloured barks
used felt for clouds
also used corrugated board & dried rubber tree leaf
how are you this Wonderful Wednesday? hope you are in good health and enjoying the day. Thanks for your kind wishes on the extraction of my Ouch! wisdom tooth. i tried not taking the painkillers and Wow! the thudding of the gum from the injection was fabulous once the numbness wore off...hehe

it's still swollen and hopefully by Thursday, all back to normal. my long time friend Ae called from Germany because she kangen (misses) us and her family in Indonesia. it's Bianca's Mum, the teenager that stayed with us during her summer vacation last year :) also to wish the kids Happy Birthday. we miss them too and hope that they'll be able to come visit soon.

and sad news to share as well. was @ my Mum's on Tuesday and the call came to let her know that an Uncle passed away that afternoon :( he has been in the hospital for a week but his passing is truly sudden. you know how we never expect someone who seems healthy to go so soon? i don't meet him often but the times that we do, i remember him as being cheerful, a joker and a kind individual. the only thing we can offer to someone who has passed is a Prayer for Peace with his return to God.

such a mixed post today but i truly want to Thank You for taking the time to spend a few minutes of your time here *hugs*

i hope to sleep thru tonight as the past few nights has been seeing me caring for Anis who's been cranky and waking up coughing and feeling feverish. i salute every Mother in this world wherever you are. you are a SuperWoman!
