Altered Book Cover

did this project when featured @ Graphic 45 Blog awhile back :)

i wouldn't alter this because the Monkeys on the cover are adorable as it is! but as you can see, someone aged 4 decided to scribble all over...

used Espresso dabber over the cover

and Voila!

decided to make a Personal Journal filled with things i like :)

front and back cover

i adore Betty Boop! added some of her journal pages

this was fun to do! are you a Journal Book junkie like me? i just love empty or single lined pages!!! hehehe...

it's midweek, had my Mocha today with girlfriends and we did some grocery shopping where we tried to get healthy stuff but really, it's hard! hehe...

hope you're having a good week and Thanks for coming by :) also would like to wish my blog friend Tams All The Best of Luck and hope she'll make it to Heidi Klum's Design Team with LG!!!

Take Care! *Hugs*

That's such a totally beautiful vintage cover you did! Great way to "recycle" the cover by just covering over with gorgeous papers!

I see you've been scrapping some fabulous layouts as well! Loving them all! *hugs*

Oh Edleen, I absolutely LOVE that altered journal cover!! I may have to try that myself :) About that crayon layout, you have until the end of the month to get it up on flickr! Besides, I really want to see it ;).
