Dear All, hope you're all doing fine and staying safe :) the long weekend was a good break for us except that Aneesa had fever and of course, worrying is part of being a parent. Thankfully she's feeling better now. Ron is away in Bali and hoping all will go well while he's there.

Singapore weather has been the same like before...hehe, either Sunny or Rainy. except that we can easily fall ill if caught in the rain. maybe take more vitamins for supplement and keep yourself fit to prevent from any ailment. take this advice from "Dr Ed"...hahaha

Celebrate & Enjoy Motherhood

hope all Mothers out there enjoyed your Special Day with your Loved Ones :)
mine was spent doing housework and nagging kids @ some moments during the day..hehe. bought myself a Durian Fudge Cake and Haagen Dazs Coffee ice~cream to spoil myself ;) then went to visit my Mum and had her Teh Tarik :D

later in the afternoon, Aysha gave me a what i call a Mother~Daughter Love Letter :) she wrote words that touched my Heart and it brought me to tears. things like this makes one feel truly appreciated. Muesa wrote me a short note with loving words :)

Thank You Aysha for the cutest gift! Regina made this adorable purse with my favourite Matroyshka doll fabric. i *heart* them all! and lipstick and lip balm i got from Etude House ;) gift for myself!

Chendol,[pronounced 'chen-doll'] or es cendol is a traditional dessert originating from Java, Indonesia, but is also popular in Malaysia, Singapore, and Southern Thailand (where it is called lorkchorng singapore ลอดข่องสิงคโปร์). The dessert's basic ingredients consist of shaved ice, coconut milk, starch noodles with green food coloring (usually sourced from the pandan leaf), and palm sugar. Red beans, glutinous rice, grass jelly, and creamed corn are optional additions. Cendol has become a quintessential part of cuisine among the multi-racial population in Southeast Asia and is often sold by vendors at roadsides, hawker centres and food courts.

this is a luxury! yikes! went to Coffee Bean and got this for my afternoon tea or more likely, afternoon Mocha Delight :D

enjoyed another day of scrapping and hoping to clear up the mess i created along the way! i need to be more organised, more neat and less upset with kids when they bug me while i scrap! hehehe... :D

hope you're having a lovely Thursday :) our TV came back from repair and Ron went thru so much hassle with the Customer Service from Harvey Norman. long story short, it was UGLY! hehehe... TV or anything that's still under warranty has it's right to be repaired free of charge or replaced maybe of the same value. somehow along the way they lied that our TV was beyond repair and offered another set of lower value with a difference of $600.

anyone who knows Ron, he wouldn't stand for that kind of service. he managed to speak to the contractor who was supposed to repair our TV and was told that our TV CAN be repaired. duh... i'm just glad he's around when this happened :D

well, that's that and just Thankful it's all over! the drama, the saga! hehehe...
my computer is also being serviced and no drama on my part ;) waiting anxiously for it's return. off to snack on these crunchy seaweed goodies and enjoy your day!

Today

it's back to school after such a long break!
1st Day of School for my Little Ones :)
they've grown...much too soon!
Big Girl and Big Boy now...

it's a relief to know that they both settled in quite well. Anis knows most of his friends from Nursery and Aneesa, oh my...she's in Primary 1! she had a few friends from Kindy in her class so they were quite comfortable being in a new school where there'll be tests and exams!!! i left after she went into class as i saw no point on hanging around when parents were told specifically to stay away from their classrooms. Ron, Aysha and i picked her up after school and i think we were more excited seeing her than she us! :D

Today, i'd like to share what Ron shared with me, written by his friend...

New Year Greetings & may we all be nicer to each other,
more Thankful, Satisfied & Humble to what have been
Blessed to us by ALLAH,
THE ALL MIGHTY, MOST LOVING & COMPASSIONATE.

ALLAH has infinite attributes, only 100 mentioned in
Al-Quran, but ALLAH's biggest & greatest attribute
is LOVE, which alone encompass all the other attributes
and the whole universe.

ALLAH loves those who can love another;
any act of compassion or kindness to a fellow
being is all that matters. In order to receive vertical
LOVE from above, we need to practice horizontal LOVE
amongst our fellow beings on earth (Hadith).

All the Holy Books
only have this ONE same core message,
"to love in order to be loved".
Yes we all know that ALLAH loved all HIS creations
even before HE created them, but to be "loved" by
ALLAH because we spread LOVE on earth, is something else.

The Near Ones (ALMUQARRABIN) are the Loving Ones, and the
Nearest One is our Habibikal Mustafa saw.

InshaALLAH we will be more loving to one another.
