Road Trip

last week, Ron came home with a car. we packed our bags and hopped into it and he drove us into Malaysia :)

we went here...

and settled ourselves here...

we had 4 days of fun and relaxation! the air there is so refreshing and Kampong Life is really simple and stress free :) we then drove to Kota Tinggi and on our way we had durians!!!

and ended up in Johor Bahru, back to modern life and we watched

it is always Great to spend time with family, whether @ home or travelling. we're glad to get our kids out on our adventure and explore whatever is out there. we had bathroom issues in the Kampong but...we survived!!! hehe... but everyone was happy there was AC! ;)

it's home sweet home now. guess who's got to do laundry and sort out road trip photos and blog about it??? hehehe! can't wait to start scrapbooking and document them all!

i've also had the chance to catch up with friends for a Make and Take with Doveen from Dove of the East @ Laine's. that night, Ron's Dad had a bad fall and he's now in the hospital. we're praying and hoping he'll get better soon. due to the H1N1 virus, we're advised to stay home and not visit. especially the kids.

Breakfast @ The Metropolitan

if only everyday could be like this ;) we had two choices for breakfast, a Continental Buffet breakfast @ Cafe Cy'an or a totally Organic Buffet breakfast @ Glow. guess which one we chose every morning? hehe...

my pick daily would be raisin toast, fruit yogurt, fresh fruits, that Energizer fruit drink is delish!!! i had 2 glasses each time ;) and a pot of tea

and one hot dish for me would be this Simply Yummy

it's a pleasant Tuesday and we're all hanging out @ home. Ron's @ work, of course to bring home the bread for all of us. very Thankful for that. i'm off to a meeting shortly. must Thank Sophia for this and hopefully something good will come out of this.

November 26th
Wednesday Ron and i will be celebrating our
16th Wedding Anniversary :)
it's been a wonderful journey together with the several downs but many ups during these years :D our 4 children makes it all complete and Thank God for All His Blessings upon us All :)

Some More...

we've arrived home safely! Thank God :) unpacked a little, settling down in the comforts of home and back to reality where there is no more VIP treatment! hehehe... back to laundry, ironing and home chores, how fun ;)

but it's really great to be back home and also time to recuperate from the whole Bangkok experience! here i am sharing some more of the days we had there...

we had Chicken Kebab @ only 50baht

as if it's not enough, we went to Suan Lum Night Bazaar which is close to The Metropolitan, near Sathorn where we were staying. more Tshirts, souvenirs and some cool vintage stuff to be found here ;)

there's really much more and i'll just post them as i blog next time round ;) Thanks for coming by and hopefully if you're planning a trip to Bangkok, perhaps some of these infos are useful. but there's always the internet to look out for more information. wished we could have gone to many more areas but we covered mostly the huge markets and bazaars.

sadly, we were there @ a time when the Nation lost their Princess :( she was the King's sister. where the procession of the funeral was held, there were road closures and i watched some of it on Live TV. they truly Love their Royal Family.

well, haven't shown you Chatuchak yet so prepare to be amazed! hehe...
time to get some rest and Many Love Thanks to my Sweet Husband who spoiled me during this whole trip :) @ one point i had to tell him to stop buying me silver jewelry... i'm not the crazy silver and turquoise lady!!! hehe... he thinks i'm silly to not want to go to the spa and get myself massaged. but the man Loves me nevertheless :D you can roll your eyes now! haha...

i look forward to get back into some scrapbooking action and Thanks AGA for this :)

Let's Go Shopping

Bangkok, Day 2
we arrived in Bangkok late Thursday afternoon and after checking in and settling in a little, we went out right away! that first night we headed out to Silom somewhere along PatPong. very famous location for some "Hot" shows..hehehe there's also a night market there with lots of great stuffs on sale :)

traffic in Bangkok can be frustrating @ times...

TukTuk is one way of travelling but taking a cab is definitely less expensive and make sure you ask for the meter to be turned on ;)

today we decided to take the MRT.
make sure you know where you're going ;)
