On Vocal Rest

the past week has been truly an awful journey of having ill~health. we can't always think we're fit and healthy. money can't buy our health back. i was stricken with very bad sore throat which brought on high fever. it came and went and after seeing the Doctor, medication didn't work. went back to him again after 2 days of sleepless nights. have you ever had trouble doing the simplest thing of swallowing your own saliva? i couldn't and it hurts!!! *being dramatic* hehe..
water definitely helps but only for a little while...

i went thru that complication and finally it resulted in me suffering from tonsillitis.

Symptoms of tonsillitis include a severe sore throat (which may be experienced as referred pain to the ears), painful/difficult swallowing, coughing, headache, fever and chills. Tonsillitis is characterized by signs of red, swollen tonsils which may have a purulent exudative coating of white patches (i.e. pus). There may be enlarged and tender neck cervical lymph nodes.

Doctor gave me antibiotics and was told to rest, do nothing and most importantly, take a break from talking :D it was hard. how to when you've got 4 kids asking you for this and that? vocal rest is truly not possible. unless i'm away @ some resort on my own! hehe...

Thank God, i'm feeling so so much better this Beautiful Sunday morning! how precious it is to feel healthy and energised :) few days ago, didn't even have the strength to get on my MacBook, scrapbooking took a break and i truly want to Thank Family & Friends who sent text messages with well wishes. i'm feeling better guys!!! :D

i did manage to play with some felts and made these...

Cupcakes
Cars
Altered Mini NoteBook
did these layouts earlier...
Friends
using FFC papers for the flower petals put together
and did my own swirls using glitter pen
Twinter
we call each other that because we're often
mistaken as Twins or Sisters ;)
the world has lost a Great Entertainer and his music will live on Forever! i am an 80s child, grew up listening to his music, went to his concert when he was here in 1993 and Ron had the privilege of landscaping his dressing room. we had backstage passes, seeing him perform LIVE, what a Superstar!

Thank You All for coming by and i sincerely hope you're all in the Best of Health, do take care. nothing beats Feeling Good. haven't eaten much since being ill and still got swallowing phobia! but i am really hungry. especially for steak!

school starts on Monday, be cautious and responsible. keep them @ home if they're unwell and i actually welcome e~learning. it's just like being homeschooled but just have to sacrifice ME time ;)

I had tonsillitis too. It was so bad that I almost had to go for an operation. Lucky I decided against it cos my fren did the ops and it recurred again 3 years later. I finally took took tcm and was "cured" of it. Hope never to get it again. It was hell and back again!
So, I fully understand what you went thru. Glad you are feeling better and can scrap again. Love those felts! Must go buy those fabrics eh? Bet you can cum up with even more amazing stuff!
