Beautiful Monday

it's really wonderful to have some Sunshine back into our lives :) it does make a difference how one feels i guess. even the little birds are chirping and i love the beautiful clouds hovering in the sky and i get this lovely view daily, so what more can i ask for? :)

Roast Chicken
made this for our lunch today.

Happy Home
did another felt project. stitching is fun :)

Proud Aunts
did this for Sketches!
another page of Baby Aqil :)

Yup..He's Mine
used some dabber paint, stamped some stars
and just having fun with this page of my Cheeky Boy!
my Little Ones are @ school, Aysha has NetBall, Muesa has swimming and they're somehow balancing their extra activities with school, studying and homework. i'm glad they've adjusted to their routine and schedule with school. just as long as they abide by the school rules!

making myself part of their school has done a bit of good i guess. at least i won't be out of the loop whenever there's school activities and functions. well, many more years before my youngest goes to Secondary School. but before that, have to go through his Primary School years :) and i'll be old by then! hehe...

Ron's doing pretty alright in Bali. that's always good to know. more trees planted, help Save The Earth! :)

right now our Home is Quiet and Still. no kids around but not for long...
it would be just nice to sip a cold glass of Iced Tea at this moment. might just do that soon after this *wink*

Have a Beautiful Monday! :)

Stormy Weather

it's been overcast and really cool and breezy recently. we had alot of rain the past few days and took these shots from my balcony this evening. it was pretty scary in a way while it's breathtaking. the clouds were huge, sort of "darkening" the sky. but i Love the Beauty of Nature :)
Free & Easy Saturday
Muesa's friend F stayed over last night. they truly enjoyed themselves except that the younger ones wanted to be with them at ALL times! hehe... good for me because they wouldn't cling onto me as much *wink*

this morning, i made them breakfast and did some laundry and while the kids entertained themselves, i managed to get some things sorted out and wrote some notes on a few Christmas cards *yayy*

and so delighted that i managed to stitch some of these...

while the weather is gloomy outside, we're pretty Happy staying indoors :) another quiet weekend for me and kids @ home. we did some jigsaw puzzles and went to Purple Mall nearby and got some groceries and Haagen Dazs for moi :D

Enjoy your Weekend! :)

Java Eyes

it was one of those days when i felt like getting my own photo shots :D i'm usually always behind the camera and i got my second in command to take over for a little while. well, just to take a few shots of me *wink*

did this layout for another challenge. i just love my eyes. i can say that. i just did, hehe... it's part of my Mother and Father, the mix of being a Javanese and Chinese~Malay :) we're all Blessed with something we Love about ourselves. and when it comes to body part, it's these chestnut brown eyes! maybe years ago it's my really nice figure but bleaghh...after 4 kids, we shall not discuss that. hehe...

Happy Teacher's Day!

it's a day of celebration for all students and Teachers today! officially it's tomorrow but today being Friday and the last day of school, everyone was having fun :) even my Little One was all excited and couldn't wait to hand the gifts i made for his Teacher and Auntie, the helper in school :D and she personally told me she loves it! *awww...* hehe...
Card and Heart with Wings Felt Keychain
and Felt Flower

For Aneesa's Teachers
Felt Bookmarks
Friday Fun
if Jenn didn't call to remind me, i wouldn't have known i had a class to attend @ Laine's today... and i'm glad i didn't give it a miss. it was great fun! Sharon's a wonderful Teacher and she got a heart felt keychain too! *wink* love what we learnt today and hopefully i'll be able to implement some of what i've learnt in my layouts in future :D

Heart To Heart
this evening i sat down with my older two after Isyak and had our weekly heart to heart talk where i would usually pour out my feelings to them. feelings of me being their Umie (Mother). i cried, my children cried. i Love having talks like these. it warms my heart. and we hugged and kissed.

i stressed the fact about being themselves at the same time by being themselves they should be good, kind and honest. be fair, always. always let others have a bigger piece if they so choose it because the smaller piece might sometimes be a better thing. the world has always been there but human beings...God's Most Greatest creation can be unkind. sadly...

we are here today, happy and healthy and blogging about our dailies, achievements yet something could happen the next moment. i told my kids to realise always, realise that in reality, it all boils down to having their family who truly Loves them and suports them and will always be by their side.

even the worst of criminal has a Mother and a Father who surely Loves him/her. it is often their family that is present during their prosecution or trial to support them. sometimes not even a friend would admit having known a criminal. maybe i watch too much movies and TV...

Scrap
September will arrive in a few hours over here and time just ticks on. got to get my behind off the computer and back to my scrapbooking :D

Without My Boys

i miss them already...

Muesa's gone camping for the next 3 days and Ron already left for Maldives. it's back to me being the only adult at home and taking care of my one Little Boy and 2 Lovely Girls :)

healthwise, i'm having a bad bad cough! it's just bad :( really hoping it'll clear as the tickle that's somehow hanging out at my throat is arghh...just so unbelievably annoying! it's worse when i'm lying down!

we had a great weekend with our friends from Germany. brought them out and about and East Coast was a first visit for them and we had yummy satay there. the barbequed stingray and squid was delicious but a tad bit too spicy for me. Ae misses eating Asian food so she went for it all! hehe...

Sew Therapeutic
made these cute felts today :) a few orders came in and thought i'd better get them done while i'm not put out by my cough.

Saturday's class @ Laine's was interesting and fun :) we learnt how to use alcohol inks and blending. the swirls were doodled and hand cut by me. butterflies cut out from patterned paper and i added journalling tag and lace. finished off the whole layout with gold glitter :D

Deep Dimples
Have a Great Week Ahead!
August will be leaving us soon...

Making A Debut and Presenting...

Ed's Groovie Handstitched Felt Birdie :)
My Father
asked my Dad to come by this morning. he looks tired coming right after work. but he's so obliging! we talked about Akhlak (General Attitude). everything he said, of course i agree. he's the strictest Dad i know growing up... and i Love him for that! well not then, didn't love him so much because always getting lectures about studying hard, be good and you know, stuff you don't really wanna hear growing up *wink* hehe... it's like each time he starts lecturing, we'd go, "Yeah Yeah Yeah" one ear in, the other ear out!

and now that i'm a parent myself, guess who's yakking aka lecturing my kids about the same thing?!!! :D and my friends who has seen me deal with my kids, they've heard my lectures...i am so a Mother!!! :D

Mini Paperbag Album
ok so the reason why i called him to come by was to give him this album i did with brown paperbags. and also the altered acrylic hanger :) he flipped through the album and inspected the acrylic hanger and hmmm...no comment! hehe... but seeing him smile while he held looking at them, enough for me to feel good inside :)

this album is filled with photos of the liitle kids we met when we visited the village last year. that little Baby Boy is now walking!!! gosh... and i really want to meet my Little Sister. i keep saying we'll go visit but somehow with kids having exams and time... God Willing we will go.

i got a few layouts done yesterday and managed to complete one this morning :) this one has been sitting on my table since last week and finally...
it'll be our Nation's Birthday on Thursday and a long day for moi! going to meet some friends for a crop meet and also meeting Felicia our winner @ {Create} to present her with our RAK Prize :)

and how thrilled and happy to be on their faves for the second time running at One Little Word :D
